What is it? 

Sexual abuse is any form of force, trick onto another person to take part in any kind of unwanted sexual activity.

What are the types of Sexual Abuse? 

This may be shown through attempted rape, unwanted sexual touching, penetration of the victims' body, etc. 

Signs that you are being Sexually Abused

  • Being touched in a way you don't like or ask for 
  • Someone getting too close to you 
  • Flirting when you have asked them not to 

Always Remember! 

  • Do not be afraid to report an incident (whether this happened to you or you've witnessed this act) 
  • You are the victim- you should never blame yourself as an excuse for your partners' actions 
  • No one deserves to experience this if not reporting or you, report for all women 

What to do next? 

  • Call or message for help!
  • Talk to someone you can trust 
  • Report if you've witnessed (you don't need to say who, just let someone know- so that help may be provided)

  • Victims are three times more likely to suffer from depression and six times more likely to suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
